Q : To custom print biodegradable / compostable packaging what is the minimum quantity order ?

Ans : We use two different technology for custom printing :

1. For digital print : there is no minimum run. We can custom print 200 to 2000 to 20000 pouches as per your demand. With digital print technology the price of custom print pouches is too high.

2. For rotogravure print : In this technology our minimum run is 10000 bags. With this technology the price of pouches is cheap and we can get very high quality printed pouches with lower prices. To print this pouches there is initial one time set up cost involved called cylinder charges. Please call our sales for more details.

 

Q : Can I pack different food products or organic products in biodegradable / compostable packaging ?

Q : What are the various different print effect can we do in biodegradable / compostable packaging

Ans :

In paper : we can print on brown kraft paper, white paper, or any custom print on paper is possible. We can make rectangle window in fixed place only we cannot make window of any shape in paper.

We can make foil stamping on paper and plastic pouches. Foil stamping looks excellent on logo area.

 

Q : What are the material is used to produce biodegradable / compostable bags ?

Ans :Plastic bags are made with 100% non-renewable product and they are not biodegradable. Our bags are made with 40 to 60% (by weight) renewable wood pulp and wood pulp is biodegradable. Our bags pass USA ASTM D-6868 and D-6400 standard and it confirms that 100% of wood pulp based portion will be dissolved in healthy compost in approx. 85 days with residential composting environment facility. Balance 60 to 40% (by weight) of packaging is PE from fossil and it contain additive that helps to breakdown over approx. twelve years.
